Notice is hereby given of the scheduled meetings for the following two Boards:

                            1) LRHA-MHA / Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Housing Authority d/b/a Metropolitan Housing Alliance.

                            2) CAHC / Board of Directors of the Central Arkansas Housing Corporation.

 

Each Board will meet separately and in person. Below are the dates of these meetings:

The Metropolitan Housing Alliance is providing advance notice of an upcoming competitive procurement for a FORTIFIED™ Roofing Project at Madison Heights Apartments in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mandatory Requirement

To be eligible to bid, contractors must be FORTIFIED™ Roofing Certified at the time of bid submission. Proof of certification will be required.

Additional Information

This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The formal IFB/RFP will include full scope, HUD requirements (2 CFR Part 200), bonding, insurance, and submission instructions.

Services will include conducting HUD-required NSPIRE inspections for all units participating in the HCV Program, ensuring compliance with federal standards, documentation accuracy, and timely reporting.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, which outline the full scope of work, submission requirements, and contract terms, will be available beginning November 30, 2025, on the LRHA website at www.lrhousing.org

DRAFT ANNUAL PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026
METROPOLITAN HOUSING ALLIANCE (MHA)

The Metropolitan Housing Alliance (MHA), the Public Housing Authority (PHA) for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, announces the availability of its Draft Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations at 24 CFR Part 903.
The Draft Annual Plan outlines MHA’s mission, goals, and objectives for serving the housing needs of low-income families and presents operational and policy changes for the upcoming year.

Public Comment Period:
The Draft Annual Plan will be available for public review and comment for a period of 45 days, beginning August 4, 2025, and ending September 18, 2025.

The Central Arkansas Housing Corporation (CAHC), a nonprofit corporation serving the Little Rock Housing Authority in acquiring and developing affordable housing throughout Central Arkansas, is continuing its search for qualified applicants to join its governing board. ALL applicants are welcome.  

One seat is held explicitly for a resident of a CAHC property. The CAHC desires applicants who are passionate about affordable housing and public service. Any relevant experience in the following fields/backgrounds is beneficial, but not necessary:  

1. Service on Public Commissions/Civic Boards
2. Construction and/or Real Estate
3. Finance
4. Nonprofit Service.

Board members serve for a 3-year term with an option for renewal. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest, resume/CV, and at least three references, directly to the current board members listed below. The deadline for submission is 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Attention Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Participants:

Please be on the lookout for an important mailing regarding upcoming recertifications (annual certifications) and unit inspection appointments, including required dates and times. In accordance with HUD program requirements, official notices are issued in writing and delivered by regular U.S. Mail.

This notice serves as your official notification that the required documents and instructions have been mailed.

If you do not receive your mailing within 10 calendar days
You must contact our office by submitting a request through the Contact Page with:

• Your full name
• Your current mailing address
• A statement that you did not receive the HCV/PBV notice

Please note: Phone calls will not be accepted for routine requests related to this mailing. Requests must be submitted through the Contact Page so the Agency can properly document and track compliance-related communications.
